Lost Pet Resources

About Us

Located in Bothell, I am the first working MAR Tech located in Washington State. I truly care about you and your missing pet. Most cats do not come home on their own .. I will not let you give up your search and will be there until your cat comes home.

Amy Adams:
I have always had a strong love for animals and have had many pets through the years. I got involved with rescue about 5 years ago, it’s a heart breaking hobby! I once had someone surrender their Doxie by handing the dog out the car window and taking off. My view of people and the world was becoming very dim. Then I met Kat Albrecht with Missing Pet Partnership. I knew with Harley’s love of cats he would make an awesome Cat Detection dog. I can now help people who love and cherish their pets and want them to come home.

Harley is... well a mutt. I believe him to be Dachshund/Beagle, but his mixed heritage doesn’t bother me a bit. I’ve been Harley’s guardian since Feb. of 2007, after seeing his listing on PetFinders. He was a owner surrender and has even helped his previous guardian with their lost cat. Being a very sensitive and intelligent guy, Harley takes his job very seriously and will leave no bush or deck unchecked in his search for your missing cat.

The rest of the gang;

Wolfe.
Don’t tell him he’s a little old man, at 17 years he still has plenty of spunk!! Demanding respect, Wolfe is top “dog” in our house.

Rosie.
Someone has to keep all the boys in line…and Rosie lets them know when they get out of hand. She’s only 10 yrs old, not that old for a Dachshund, but started going grey when our old cat Hippie died. She might be a girly dog, but loves to go camping.

Frank.
This is when I learned that I can’t foster. Frank came into my life in pretty bad shape, under weight, untrained, not neutered and with a cyst on his neck. He stole my heart during his recovery and has found his forever home with my gang. At 7 yrs he acts like a 2 yr. old...  my wild child.

I can tell you without reservation that Amy is very honest, caring, dedicated, and pragmatic.  When we are desperate to find our babies it is good to have someone like Amy who truly cares and will do everything possible to help and not take advantage. Amy is the voice of reason.
